According to Sun Lijian, deputy director of the General Office of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the world's first continuous production line of rare earth sulphide colorant tunnel kiln was completed in Baotou City and was successfully industrialized.


In May 2015, the government of Inner Mongolia jointly negotiated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences to set up the Baotou Rare Earth R & D Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The center introduced the three core patents obtained by the academician Zhang Hongjie from the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2015 and successfully developed the world's first Rare Earth Sulfide colorant Pilot production line, and to produce the first batch of cerium red coloring agent. After more than a year of repeated testing, to achieve the continuous production line, large-scale and stable operation.


In November of this year, it invested 1 billion yuan in Baotou to build 50,000 tons / year rare earth cerium sulphonate colorant production line, and achieved the transformation of scientific research results and docking with the enterprises.


Sun Lijian said that the industrialization of the project is of great significance. "Will form a new growth point of rare earth industry, cosmetics, ceramics, masterbatch, paints, inks and other five industries around the world demand for high-grade red pigment is about 79 million tons, the market size of about 35 billion US dollars, 50,000 tons of production lines After full production, the output value is expected to exceed 10 billion yuan, while improving the balanced use of rare earth resources.


In addition, hot-dip galvanized steel (aluminum) composite plate thermal transfer printing plate technology in Inner Mongolia successfully industrialized. It is understood that on November 16 this year, with an annual output of 70,000 tons of the domestic most high-end hot-dip steel (aluminum) composite plate thermal transfer production line in Baotou ignition success, on the 25th, across the board hot test successful production is expected to 300 million yuan in output value .

Press conference news, said the industrialization of this technology can extend Baotou steel and aluminum industry chain, and actively digest steel and aluminum production capacity; metal plate is a renewable product, recyclable, to some extent reduce the amount of solid waste Emissions, reduce the labor intensity of workers and improve the working environment.
